Ingredients:
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 0.5 oz Gingerbread syrup (store-bought or homemade)
- 0.25 oz Blackstrap molasses (optional, for extra depth)
- 2 dashes Aromatic bitters
- 1 dash Orange bitters (optional)
- Garnish: Orange peel, cinnamon stick, or mini gingerbread cookie
Instructions:
Prepare your glass:
Use a rocks glass. You can chill it beforehand or add a large ice cube directly.
Mix the cocktail:
In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine:
- 2 oz bourbon
- 0.5 oz gingerbread syrup
- 0.25 oz molasses (if using)
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
- 1 dash orange bitters (optional)
Stir until chilled:
Stir the mixture for about 20–30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted.
Strain and serve:
Strain into your rocks glass over a large ice cube or sphere.
