Applejack Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients (per serving):
- 2 oz Applejack (or apple brandy)
- 0.75 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz Simple syrup
- 1 dash Angostura bitters (optional, for depth)
- Garnish: Lemon twist or apple slice
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
Chill your glass:
Place a coupe or rocks glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water while preparing the drink.
Mix the ingredients:
In a shaker filled with ice, pour:
- 2 oz applejack
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 1 dash Angostura bitters (optional)
Shake well:
Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Strain into the glass:
Discard the ice from your chilled glass. Strain the mixture into the glass (either over fresh ice in a rocks glass or straight up in a coupe).
