What a commission means for you
If you click an affiliate link and go on to make a purchase, the retailer pays Caskable a small commission. This comes out of the retailer's marketing budget, not your pocket — you pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.
Affiliate relationships never influence our review scores, editorial content, or which distilleries and bottles we choose to cover. We link only to retailers we consider reputable and relevant — and we've turned down affiliate arrangements that would have compromised that.
Regulatory basis for this disclosure
This disclosure is provided in line with UK consumer protection law on unfair commercial practices (Part 4, Chapter 1 of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024), the CMA’s and ASA’s guidance on disclosing paid and affiliate content, and the ASA’s CAP Code rules on recognising advertising. For readers in the EU and EEA it follows Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices as implemented in national law, for example the Norwegian Marketing Control Act (markedsføringsloven). For readers in the United States it follows the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).
