History
The full guide to Rampur
Rampur Distillery was set up in 1943 in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, close to the Himalayan foothills. It is owned by Radico Khaitan, one of India’s largest spirits companies.
The Rampur single malt range was launched in 2016. It is made from Indian barley and aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, and some releases are finished in casks that once held Indian spirits.
The style is fruity and smooth, and the range has won awards at international competitions.
