The full guide to Black Dirt Distillery
Black Dirt Distillery is in Warwick, in New York’s Hudson Valley. The name comes from the black dirt region of Orange County, a flat area of rich dark soil that has been farmed for generations.
The distillery is best known for its bourbon and rye, made from grain bought locally where possible, and for apple-based spirits from the area’s orchards.
A tasting room and shop let visitors try the range, and the distillery is part of the growing craft scene in the Hudson Valley.
