History
The full guide to Tuthilltown Spirits
Tuthilltown Spirits began in 2001 on a historic gristmill site in Gardiner, in the Hudson Valley. Founders Ralph Erenzo and Brian Lee started with a small pot still and the first licence for a whiskey distillery in New York since Prohibition.
Their Hudson Whiskey range, including Baby Bourbon and Manhattan Rye, helped start the modern craft whiskey boom and showed that a small distillery could build a national brand.
In 2010 William Grant & Sons bought the Hudson Whiskey brand, and Tuthilltown has since continued as a craft distillery making its own range.

From supermarket favourites to bottles from distilleries around the world, he writes about what he actually tastes and experiences, without pretending you need to be an expert to enjoy a good dram.
